Dave Jones became our minister in 2006 following a career in business. Dave and his wife Andrea have five children and seven grandchildren. He is originally from Akron, OH where he was raised the youngest of seven children. He serves as a trustee with the Christian Restoration Association.

Zach Rayburn became our Ministry Associate in 2020. He oversees our youth programs, community outreach and discipleship. He attended Summit Theological Seminary. Zach grew up in the country outside of Mount Vernon. He and his wife Emily were married in 2022, and they have one son. Zach enjoys being in the outdoors and helping others. ​

Chris began serving on the worship team at Millwood in 2021 and has been the Worship Minister since 2022. He and his wife Lauren have 4 young sons. Chris is an Air Force veteran and is currently working as an IT Engineer. He is a car enthusiast and enjoys building custom computers and 3D printing in his free time, as well as playing games with his family.

Alyssa Green works as our church administrator. She is actively involved in our young adults’ group. She is originally from Chillicothe, OH and has a bachelor’s degree from Capital University. Alyssa and her husband, Dylan have 3 young children. In her free time she enjoys sewing, baking and spending time with her family.

Jeff McDonald became one of our elders in 2021. He and his wife Amy own a business which offers guided deer and turkey hunts. Prior to that, Jeff was in the timber business. They have two daughters and 7 grandchildren. Besides being an avid outdoorsman, Jeff enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Gary began serving as an elder in 2021. He and his wife Rachel have three children and eight grandchildren. Gary worked in the sand and mining industry for a number of years. He is a United States Army veteran.

Mike has served as an elder since 1994. Along with all of our elders, he shepherds and oversees the work of the church. He is also known as the "Candy Man" to all the kids. He and his wife Brenda have two adult sons and five grandchildren. Mike retired from the phone industry after a long career in engineering. He and Brenda enjoy the outdoors together. He is a sports fan, especially the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Rick has served as an elder since 2024. After 25 years of preaching ministry, Rick Lumbatis serves as an elder in the church where he grew up. Rick and his wife Deb are proud parents to four children and six grandchildren and enjoy outdoor activities. Rick serves on the Wakatomika Christian Service Camp board and is employed by the Nestle Purina Petcare Company.

Dusty Buckingham became a deacon in 2011. He teaches adult and youth classes. He oversaw the design and construction of our new building. Dusty and his wife Amy have three adult daughters and four grandchildren. Besides owning an electrical business, he has served on a number of corporate and community boards. He enjoys time with family, travel, hunting and sports.

Kyle Pelc serves as one of our deacons. He teaches, preaches occasionally and is actively involved in our discipleship ministry. Kyle is married to Olivia and they have four children. Kyle is a Nurse Anesthetist for a local hospital. He is a sports fan and enjoys hunting.

Doug Severns serves as one of our deacons. He and his wife Betty have four adult daughters, and six grandchildren. He is retired from a local natural gas cooperative after more than 30 years. Doug remains active with remodeling projects and serving others.

Dylan has served as one of our deacons since 2024. He is actively involved with the young adults group, teaching youth, and preaches occasionally. Dylan attends Millwood alongside his wife Alyssa and three young children. He works in the electrical field, and in his free time he enjoys being outside, working on cars, helping others and spending time with his family.

Matt has served as one of our deacons since 2024. He started attending Millwood in March 2022 alongside his wife, Jackie. Together they have one adult son. Matthew has been in the HVAC industry close to 20 years. In Spring of 2024 they opened a sandwich shop in Danville. In his free time Matthew finds enjoyment serving others and spending time with close friends and family.

Gabe Hamilton has served as one of our deacons since 2024. He is actively involved in teaching the youth. Gabe attends Millwood alongside his wife Emilee and their daughter. He works as a mechanic foreman in the mining industry. He also enjoys all things outdoors including hunting and fishing and spending time with family.

Marshall has served as one of our deacons since 2024. He teaches and preaches occasionally. He and his wife Lauryn lead a journey group and are involved in various church projects and activities throughout the year. They have two children. Marshall is a farmer in the Danville area and enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Ian Lashley serves as one of our deacons. He is actively involved in teaching, discipleship, and helping equip others in both faith and leadership. Ian attends Millwood alongside his wife and family. He is the owner of Lashley Training Center and has a background in martial arts, fitness, and personal development. Ian is passionate about serving others, building strong families, and helping people grow in their faith. In his free time, he enjoys training, spending time with family, and investing in the community.
